This piece is 3- D. The hand-cut pieces pop off the page creating a dynamic one of a kind piece. Each layer is cut and assembled using archival materials. It is all created with paper keeping things airy and light. It is framed in a black shadow box that is 2inch deep. Allowing the artwork to have space to pop off the page. This hand-cut piece pushes the viewer to explore the many floors of a building. It plays with being about to see two perspectives at once in a sky rise city building, seeing the building brick right across from you but also the city layout and floors of individual buildings.
Weave through the empty interstate streets as you move from building to building.
